The journey to making my own skin care products began with my natural hair journey. If you are familiar with the natural hair journey, then you know the many avenues it can take you. Shea butter was a staple in helping to retain both hair and skin moisturization. After not being able to find my favorite scented whipped butters in stores anymore, I decided to whip my own but without the unnecessary ingredients.
The name HoneiiBees was inspired by my love and compassion for bees and the versatility of honey. It's a favorite natural sweetener and it attracts and retains moisture. I did not become the beekeeper I imagined I would be, but that didn't stop me from finding creative ways to bring together two of my favorite gifts from nature.
HoneiiBees products are hand crafted using shea butter as the major conditioner because of its richness in fatty acids and the vitamins that provides exceptional moisturization that helps soften skin, provide nourishment and keeps skin hydrated through the day.
